Helping the Survivors

It has become apparent now that the damage in New Orleans and along the Gulf Coast from Katrina is more horrendous than was first thought. The need for aid to the people in this region, many of whom have lost everything to this storm, is obvious and urgent. The world will undoubtedly respond, but as individuals we can also render aid.
