Make money by outsourcing
Ever since the dot com era there has been a lot of reports say that the information technology jobs are all gone. Speaking as a student with a degree in computer science. I was worried that upon graduation I would have a difficult time finding a job. Not only that upon entering the computer science major at my college. Many of my career advisors would quote to me $60,000 to $90,000 figure salaries.I graduated and all the jobs I found were beyond the scope of my degree. Did this mean that I should return to school, spend thousands of dollars more on education only to come out and find that the market once again shifted? Like most people I was lazy tired and flat broke to go back to school. So I sought an alternative option.
It wasn't until a year ago I was browsing the internet that I came across a website its main purpose was to connect freelancers "people like me who did not necessarily have a job but wanted to make money" to large companies and private individual that needed work done. I was so excited that I signed up quickly. It was free of course, and within minutes I was already bidding on projects. To my surprise I was picked for one of the projects I bid on. It was to create a simple website template design. It was not complicated at all and I had the finished product out to the project creator in under an hour. He was happy and sent me payment for it right away. A light bulb went of in my mind this is a great idea and I could make tons of money doing this while looking for a job.
I wondered if their were more sites like this so I began to search Google and came up with a few that I registered for. I liked it so much that I even put a few of my friends on to the freelancing opportunity. Freelancing was such a good idea to me that my friend and I decided to create our own outsourcing portal but that's for another article.
After conducting 8 months of research and working as a freelancer I have realized the trend. Outsourcing although relatively old is brand new. It was in fact introduced to the web market after the dot com era circa 2001. This means that a lot of companies have not yet fount the advantages of outsourcing. Also freelancers now have the ability to make a living from these outsource portals.
