Forecasting software for business - lead generation

Lokad.com delivers hosted statistical forecasting services. Lokad has been designed to be integrated into 3rd party applications (like a component being part of a larger framework). The purpose of this job is to contact software editors to propose Lokad as a solution to their forecasting needs.

Typical usage of forecasting include
- sales forecasting for CRM (customer relationship management), POS (point of sales) and eCommerce
- demand forecasting for ERP (enterprise resource planning) for manufacturer
- activity / volume forecasting for call center or customer services

REQUIREMENTS: No previous experience with forecasting technology is expected. Yet, a good overall understanding of IT technology is required. No need for actual programming skills but you will need to understand the features of the product (i.e. Lokad) that you will be trying to sell. Perfect command of ENGLISH both written and oral is required.

TYPICAL PROCESS:
- collecting leads (i.e. software companies to be contacted)
- validating the leads
- contacting the leads.

More generally, I will be able to assist you to get started with this job. In a broader perspective, we are looking for a part-time marketer that would invest 10h / week (roughly) on a recurrent basis. There is not too much schedule constraints, but we expect the marketer to be quite available to call back the potential prospects because the contacted people usually have very tight schedule.
